CAT A+ Fit Out

Our client, a private family office, had already comprehensively refurbished this period building to provide a “best in class” office space. We were tasked with creating a CAT A+ suite to revolutionise one of the floors, setting an example as to how the remaining space could potentially best be used, appealing to new and future occupiers.

Having previously fitted out a floor in this building on three separate occasions, maintaining good knowledge of the building certainly worked in our favour. We have also carried out an extensive number of office fit outs in and around Mayfair for both asset management companies and smaller boutique organisations so we were in good stead to perfectly advise and fit out the floor for a target occupier.

117 Piccadilly is a typical period building and this floor lends itself to client facing meeting rooms, an open plan lounge area overlooking the infamous Green Park, as well as a separate desking area which is ideal for when privacy is of the utmost importance. We also included an open break space and tea point, complete with “waterfall” Silestone worktop edges to enhance the breakfast bar and separated this space from the rest of the office by open shelving, allowing light to flow through and creating an airy feel.

Again, with views of the tree tops in Green Park, the boardroom needed a luxurious feel inside to match that of the outside! We created this by choosing a dark fumed oak veneer table and matching credenza, paired with double padded dark green upholstered chairs. Completing the space with feature pendant lighting sets off the room beautifully. Fabric wrapped acoustic panels not only improve the acoustics of the room, they further enhance the richness and depth.

For the client facing area, a coffee point was specifically designed for convenience when hosting guests. This is finished in the ever popular shaker style, topped with “Arabesque” composite worktops.

With the always prevalent requirement for private spaces to host telephone or video calls, a quiet room was placed towards the back of the office area. Finished with feature lighting and fabric wrapped acoustic panels to match the boardroom, this quiet room has an inviting, cosy aesthetic.
