01 The Brief

The Brief

Our team were approached having already carried out our clients original fit out and subsequent churn works, at their Leeds Office.

Due to continued expansion, our client took an additional half floor in the building and tasked us with not only accommodating 40 extra staff with two meeting rooms but also required a larger break out space.

As our client occupied space across two floors, a large and inviting break out area was to prove a very important part of the brief, as they wished to encourage communication and integration between teams across both floors.

The break out area was designed to allow staff to use the space for informal meetings.

03 The Solution

The Solution

Our solution was to create a lively and interactive sales floor which followed a similar theme to the original fit out, with a break out space which felt completely different, to encourage staff from the lower floor to use the area and improve communication between teams.

As the open plan area had a corporate feel, we felt that an industrial theme would update and enthuse!

We used natural appearing finishes, such as Rustic Oak, Concrete and Steel, with a luxury vinyl tile which offered an industrial appearance and laid in a 'Chevron' pattern.

Our clients have a need to utilise audio visual on an occasional basis in 'semi-formal' meeting rooms.

They are designed for a short time frame and practicality.

We utilised black framed partitioning with storey height walnut veneer doors to compliment the existing Milliken 'Consequence' carpet tiles.

We used 12mm toughened glass partitioning to form the fronts of the meeting rooms with graduated band manifestation to enhance the natural light into the meeting spaces.
