What’s included in an office interior refurbishment?

Office interior refurbishments are a great way to breathe some fresh life into your workspace and re-engage you employees, without the costly expense and upheaval of relocating.

With innovative new products on the market, there are lots of creative ways we can help you get more out of your current office, saving space where necessary, potentially reducing annual expenditure, through energy efficient upgrades for example, and just generally making it a more inspiring place to work.

When you work with us at IPS, we take care of everything, so you don’t have to worry.

Here’s what you can expect to be included in an office interior refurbishment.

Project Management

Good communication and careful planning throughout the process will ensure maximum benefits to your office refurbishment. We know all this can be extremely time consuming, so we look after the project management so you can focus on your business.

Refurbishing your office is a big task, but we aim to take away any stress and worry you might feel in the process. That’s why we’ll manage the project from start to finish, producing plans and detailed specifications, statutory approvals, phasing the works as necessary to enable you to keep the offices operational, or even helping with organising temporary offices where needed.

Space planning and office design

Our team of experts will discuss the best ways to improve your existing office without major disruption to your staff. We’ll utilise innovative designs to really make the most out of your space, more often than not creating a brand-new layout that will completely transform it.

Our experienced team will get to work helping you choose the finishes, furniture, and décor styles to reflect your brand and business, creating a beautiful office that inspires your staff and impresses your clients.

Mechanical and electrical works

Sometimes a lick of paint, some graphic elements and a new carpet are all you need to spruce up your space and make it a nicer place to work. However, sometimes it needs a little more than that and more involved works are needed.

You may choose to replace the lighting and other electrical installations, upgrade the kitchen units, or install new partition walls or glass partitions throughout the space. Often new walls will require mechanical alterations. In these instances, we’ll take care of all the associated work through our trusted trades, many of whom have been working for us for several years, including electrics, plumbing, mechanical and carpentry to ensure the co-ordination of trades runs smoothly.

We want to make sure the bones of the office space are in excellent working order to reflect the new structure and design, so you can rest assured that any complex work is being dealt with. We will also provide the information required for your formal license for alterations.

Your office refurbishment project

Once our team have worked with you to design your ideal office space, we’ll get to work on your refurbishment. Our experienced teams work out-of-hours where required to ensure the least disruption to your team, but we can also arrange temporary workspaces and phased works, if required.

The IPS Team have more than 150 years’ combined experience in Office Refurbishments. If you’re looking for a way to express your ethos, brand and culture, without the cost of moving – get in touch for a consultation.
