Mark Richardson

Mark's journey into the realm of office fitting began immediately after completing his formal education, delving into both the residential and commercial sectors. His endeavours in the bustling London property scene have endowed him with an in depth set of skills and industry experience.

In 2006, Mark embraced the opportunity to work alongside his father at IPS. Here, he reported to the late Philip Kiddie, a venerable figure in office interiors. Under Philip's mentorship, Mark cultivated a deep understanding of 'Design and Build' contracting, an education that has been invaluable to his professional development.

As a Director at IPS, Mark is instrumental in steering the commercial direction of the company. His role is pivotal in ensuring operations proceed without a hitch, and he is dedicated to the collective success and growth of the business.

Away from the office, Mark's passions include skiing and embracing the challenge of golf. An avid traveller with a particular fondness for Italy, Mark is captivated by its stunning landscapes and the culinary delights it offers.

Senior Estimator

Philip Silvey

Phil is our esteemed Senior Estimator, whose impressive career in the construction industry is as broad as it is deep. With decades of experience that mirror the growth and evolution of the field itself, Phil has been at the forefront of an array of pivotal projects. From the foundational design and construction of bespoke care homes to the intricate detailing of diverse office fit-outs, his expertise is both comprehensive and finely honed.

His acumen in cost analysis and the intricacies of running projects within multi tenanted buildings, has been a cornerstone of successful builds that blend functionality with innovation. Phil's skill set is the result of a lifelong commitment to excellence and adaptation in a fast-paced industry. His ability to foresee and navigate the complexities of construction economics brings unparalleled value to our clients and projects.

Accounts Director

Stephanie Richardson

Stephanie went straight to Fashion Design college from school and then worked for a number of well known retailers before becoming Office Manager at an investment company. She was then employed as PA to Directors at a Sports Media Practice.

Missing the design input that she craved, she joined IPS and simultaneously studies Interior Design whilst managing the office, carrying out the bookkeeping working closely with our accountants, managing accounts receivable, accounts payable and ensuring our subcontractors are processed under the CIS scheme.

Outside of work, Stephanie is a keen fitness enthusiast, enjoying running for charity, working out in the gym and swimming. Stephanie has recently developed a passion for skiing and hits the slopes when she can!

Project Director

James Richardson

James demonstrates dedication and experience within our company, fulfilling the vital role of Director with a focus on orchestrating and executing our office fit-out projects. His ascent through the ranks of our family business is a testament to his unwavering commitment and intrinsic understanding of our ethos and the industry at large.

His responsibilities are both pivotal and expansive, ensuring that each project is not only delivered to our exacting standards but also exceeds the expectations of all stakeholders. James is the linchpin in the communication chain, his coordination ensures transparency and efficiency, solidifying trust at every level of engagement.

With a keen eye for detail, James oversees the intricate orchestration of contractors, guaranteeing that craftsmanship meets our high quality standards. His hands-on approach to quality control reflects his belief that excellence is not an act but a habit.

Beyond the successful completion of projects, James is dedicated to 'day 2 account management'. He ensures that our relationships with clients continue to flourish long after the initial project completion, embodying the enduring commitment to service that our company prides itself on.

James's role is not just about leadership; it's about setting a benchmark for excellence and continuity in the family business, ensuring its legacy and reputation for generations to come.

Design Manager

Cliff Bassett

With over 35 years of dedicated service, Cliff stands as a pivotal member of our team, embodying the spirit of innovation and excellence in office fit-out design. As our Design Manager, Cliff brings an unrivalled depth of technical knowledge and practical expertise, particularly in the realms of partitions, ceilings, and compliance with the building regulations. His understanding of project sequencing and their technical requirements ensures that every project is not just a reflection of aesthetic appeal but also of structural integrity and compliance.
Under Cliff's guidance, our design team thrives, fuelled by his commitment to excellence. His ability to navigate the complexities of building regulations and his foresight in project sequencing have been instrumental in our success, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently, effectively, and to the highest standards.

After completing a degree in interior design Cheryl has been successfully designing client visions into reality since 2012. With a rich background in interiors she has designed everything from fish & chip shops , pharmacies and your local coffee shop to 6040 sqm offices , hospitality suites for football stadiums and everything in between.

With a passion for design and innovation she is always on the hunt for the latest trends, newest products and the most creative solutions for her clients projects.

Cheryl’s creativity is not restricted to the office and in her free time enjoys many other creative pursuits including baking , paper craft , painting and a spot of DIY . When she isn’t doing all that you can find her poolside enjoying a good book or at least wishing she was.
